Ingredients
- 1 lb fresh strawberries, hulled and sliced
- 1 tablespoon salted butter
- 1 1/2 cups kataifi pastry, finely shredded
- 6 tablespoons pistachio butter
- 1 tablespoon tahini
- 1/4 cup whole pistachio nuts, chopped
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 oz dark chocolate melting wafers
Instructions
1. Toast the kataifi pastry in a skillet with salted butter over medium heat until golden and crispy, about 5-7 minutes.
2. In a bowl, combine pistachio butter, tahini, and chopped pistachios to create the pistachio filling.
3. In serving cups, layer sliced strawberries at the bottom.
4. Add a layer of the pistachio filling over the strawberries.
5. Melt the dark chocolate with heavy whipping cream to create a ganache.
6. Pour the chocolate ganache over the pistachio layer.
7. Top with additional sliced strawberries and a sprinkle of toasted kataifi for garnish.
8. Refrigerate the cups for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the layers to set.
