A vibrant, antioxidant-rich smoothie using purple fruit peels and roots to support natural energy and fat-burning.

  • Total Time: 7 minutes
  • Yield: 1 serving 1x

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium purple peel fruits (dragon fruit or purple passion fruit)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 cup spinach leaves
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup ice cubes
  • 1 teaspoon honey (optional)

Instructions

1. Wash the purple peel fruit thoroughly and scoop out the flesh, keeping 1/4 inch of flesh attached to the peel.

2. Pour almond milk into the blender, then add lime juice and let sit for 30 seconds.

3. Add the purple peel pieces and frozen banana to the blender.

4. Add spinach leaves and chia seeds to the blender.

5. Blend on low for 30 seconds, then high for about 90 seconds until smooth.

6. Taste and adjust with honey, more liquid, or ice as needed.

7. Pour into a chilled glass and serve immediately for best results.

Notes

• Coconut milk can be used instead of almond milk. • Swap banana with frozen mango for lower sugar. • Ground flaxseed can replace chia seeds. • Kale works instead of spinach for stronger nutrition. • Lemon juice is a good substitute for lime. Choose ripe purple peel fruits with vibrant skin and slight give when pressed. Wash and prep ingredients ahead for daily convenience.
