Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 4–6 strips cooked bacon, crumbled
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- Salt & pepper, to taste
- 1 tube (8 oz) crescent roll dough
- ¼ cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder (or 2 cloves minced garlic)
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (garnish)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Cook ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until browned; season with salt & pepper. Drain excess fat.
3. Stir in crumbled bacon and remove from heat.
4. Unroll crescent dough into a rectangle, press seams to seal.
5. Spread beef–bacon mixture evenly; sprinkle shredded cheddar on top.
6. Roll dough tightly from long side, seal edges. Slice into 8–10 rollups.
7. Place rollups cut-side down on baking sheet.
8. Mix melted butter and garlic powder (or minced garlic); brush over rollups.
9. Bake 15–18 minutes, until golden and cheese is bubbly.
10. Garnish with parsley and serve warm with ketchup, mustard, or aioli.
Notes
• For best texture, let the beef mixture cool slightly before rolling. • Use fresh-shredded cheddar for gooey meltiness. • Add diced pickles or jalapeños inside for extra tang or heat. • Refrigerate leftovers up to 3 days; reheat in oven or air fryer for crispiness.
